The E.R. Nele 'Visor' floor lamp was designed for Temde Leuchten in Switzerland in the 1960s. This floor lamp features two light bulbs that can be positioned anywhere along the stem. The bulbs are adjustable in height and can be placed on either side of the stem, offering flexibility in direction and placement. The lamp also includes tactile elements that function as light shades. These elements can be moved around to change the direction of light, allowing the user to create various patterns on the wall. The design of the lamp emphasizes functionality, offering versatile light placement and control. It was produced to provide a customizable lighting experience, with the ability to adjust the light source and shade position. The design reflects the flexibility and innovation characteristic of 1960s Swiss lighting.
Condition: The floor lamp is in good overall condition, showing signs of age and use throughout the metal base, stem and shades. The functional shades are working smoothly.
