Early floor lamp in a gentle sage green lacquer manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy. The colour of the lacquered base and shade is reminiscent for the time period, dating back to circa 1955.
The lamp has a sleek tripod base and is connected with some details brass elements which are showing an overall adorable patina. The conical shaped lamp shade is combined with a glass diffusor which gives a very soft light partition when illuminated. A very elegant and timeless piece which can fit in any type of interior.
Stilnovo is an iconic Italian lighting company founded in 1946, renowned for its innovative and modernist designs that became emblematic of mid-century Italian design. The brand is celebrated for its use of clean lines, geometric forms, and a combination of metal, glass, and other materials to create functional yet artistic lighting solutions.
Condition: Overall this floor lamp shows age related user marks visible to the frame and brass. Some lacquered parts have a bit of rust and some minor missing paint chips, the brass shows a subtle patina. We can offer restoration if desired
