This ceiling lamp was designed by Goffredo Reggiani and produced by Reggiani Illuminazione in Italy in 1970. It is made of chromed metal and includes four arms that can be oriented in different directions. Each arm holds a light source and is connected to a central mount that attaches to the ceiling. The arms are adjustable, allowing the direction of light to be changed as needed. The lamp was manufactured during a period when Reggiani Illuminazione was developing various modular lighting systems. The design reflects the company’s focus on functionality and user-controlled lighting configurations.
The light shows similarties with the 'Hydra' floor lamp by Pierre Folie/Jacques Charpentier.
Goffredo Reggiani founded Reggiani Illuminazione in 1957 in Italy. He directed the company’s design and production efforts, focusing on lighting systems for residential and commercial use. The company became known for creating adjustable lighting fixtures and for its use of metal components. During the 1960s and 1970s, Reggiani Illuminazione expanded its production and distribution internationally. The company remains active and continues to manufacture lighting systems for a global market.
Condition: The ceiling light is in good overall condition, showing signs of age and use throughout the metal frame, arms and shades. The functional shades are working smoothly.
