This Postmodern floor lamp was produced in Italy in 1970. It features a tall stem lacquered with a mustard/ocher color. The stem is showing similarities to a 'Skyscraper' with edgy tapered elemetns, leading to an opaline glass shade that diffuses the light. The glass shade is designed to evenly distribute light, creating a soft illumination.
The lamp stands on a stable base, ensuring its support. The design reflects the Postmodern style of the time, which incorporates bold and functional elements. This floor lamp was made to function as both a light source and a decorative item within a space. The overall design emphasizes practicality, with an aesthetic that aligns with the 1970s Italian Postmodern movement.
Condition: The base of the floor lamp is showing a few dents and some stains in the lacquer. The lacquer of the stem shows signs of age and use, which is in line with the age of the floor lamp. The glass is in good vintage condition and in tact.
