Geometric Floor Lamp in Stainless Steel with Two Adjustable Shades, 1980s

$2,900
Description

This floor lamp was produced in the late 1980s and is constructed from Stainless Steel. The lamp features two geometric shades mounted on adjustable arms. Each shade can be rotated to the side to change the direction of the light. This mechanism allows the user to control the position of the illumination and create an appealing composition.

At the top of the vertical stem there is an additional bulb that functions as an uplight and creates a luminator effect, this toplamp is dimmable.

During the 1980s stainless steel was widely used in lighting production because it allowed precise construction and durable structures. Adjustable elements were commonly incorporated to provide flexible lighting in domestic interiors.

Condition

This floor lamp shows minor age-related signs of use, including a few small dents and light surface marks consistent with normal usage over time. The two large geometric shades are fully adjustable and move smoothly, allowing the light to be directed as desired. Overall, the lamp remains in good vintage condition.

There is minor movement between the base and the stem, which we can try to restore prior to shipping.
