Set of 8 Green 'Plurima' Chairs with Rare Wooden Frame by Paolo Orlandi & Roberto Lucci, Italy, 1980s
- Description
-
Extremely unusual set of 8 chairs manufactured in green lacquered fibreglass and a wooden base. Originally designed and manufactured by Artemide, these specific models are designed by Poalo Orlandi and Roberto Lucci after they obtained the production rights from Artemide and slightly adjusted the design.
Being designed originally for mass production, this specific set with a wood V-shaped base are highly rare and very uncommon. The chair remains stackable however it is supposed to be used in a persons interior rather then a corporate environment.
The green Chinese lacquer give the chairs their high gloss finish, being a fresh addition to plenty of interiors. The wooden base, which has been stained to a darker walnut color adds a warm touch to the 'harder' fibreglass (GRP/Glass Reinforced Polyester).
Very comfortable seat and back support.
Condition: The fibreglass overall is in extremely good condition showing minor surface scratches, 1 chair with an old repair, (images available upon request). Frames in good condition, wood joints checked. Minor scratches and signs of use.
We have consciously chosen to photograph all of our items in their current state to present the real original condition as completely as possible for transparency towards our clients.
In case you have any additional questions about the original condition, always feel free to reach out and ask us for additional images. We do also offer services such as restoration and re-upholstery in case this is wished for.
