Philipp Plein Chair in Brushed Steel, Germany, 2000

$5,040
Description

Geometric, linear, reduced of ornament: The Philipp Plein steel chair comprises a square seat and connected legs attaching at the base, forming two solid rectangular shapes completed by a low resting angular back.

The piece is signed, and in very good vintage condition. It has minor signs of time – namely very light lines – on the surfaces.

Philipp Plein (b.1978), widely known as a larger-than-life figure within the fashion world, was first and foremost a furniture designer. This chair is an example of his earliest furniture pieces.
