This rare floor lamp was the result of a formidable partnership between Italian designers Gae Aulenti and Livio Castiglioni, who shared an instinct for graphic, Bauhaus-informed silhouettes. Several editions were produced, including this dual-headed design. Each studio-style lamp can be rotated with precision, facilitating a fully up- or down-lit position, and bears a perforated detail around the fixture.
Recently rewired and PAT tested to UK standards. There is some tarnishing to the chrome on both the globe holders and stem. The base is in good condition with no cracks or chips.
