Lamp

Description: This lamp was crafted from the first bicycle donated to me, a twin-tube crossbar mountain bike with a complex geometry that made it challenging to work with. Initially, I kept the seat post intact, but eventually removed it, realising the steel twin tubes provided sufficient strength on their own. The idea to transform the bike into a lamp emerged as I began cutting away parts of the frame and visualising the potential shape of a table lamp.

The finished lamp is powder coated, features a steel bar at the rear for weight distribution and an LED bulb wired through the frame.
