A light source moves along a track constrained in a solid metal structure. A folded, cut and welded stainless steel sheet forms a treasure chest of light whose glow branches out with different intensity and amplitude thanks to an adjustable lighting system inspired by the mechanism of a common work tool, well known to anyone who dedicates himself to manual labor, for pleasure or profession.
A clean design, almost brutal in its essentiality, where technique becomes aesthetics by transforming the functional components of the lamp into ornamental elements. The track, on two opposite sides, opens a passage that seamlessly merges inside and outside. In the Captive Floor Lamp nothing is superfluous, but everything is essential. Every technical expedient has been studied to ensure maximum practicality and versatility, condensing the best of the illustrious Lombard artisan tradition in each lamp.
