Description: The Pita Sconce is flattened spherical shape, resembling a smooth, rounded stone. The lower portion of the sphere is sliced open to create a wide, crescent-shaped opening that directs the light downward and acts as a window into the golden interior. The exterior of the piece is hand-painted with acrylic paints to achieve the rugged, stone texture with a vividly contrasting interior that amplifies the light. The light source is housed inside the pocket—When illuminated, the design directs the light in a controlled manner, casting a soft, focused beam that enhances the surrounding space without being overpowering.
