La Fleur Fanée is the first piece in a new series of objects: The Lueur series, set to launch in 2025. Including a lamp, a mirror, and a coffee table, this series explores different expressions of hope. 


I designed this lamp with the idea that we can develop an emotional attachment to objects. The stronger the bond, the more we tend to care for them, protect them, and keep them over time. Inspired by nature in motion, La Fleur Fanée captures the moment when a flower withers, a moment that reflects both decline and a sense of hope and resilience.

Vincent Decat is a Paris-based craft designer who graduated from Design Academy of Eindhoven in 2023 and focuses on the relation between design and sculpture. His process evolves balancing rationality, randomness and spontaneity. Through interior objects, he challenges the role of sculpture within our surroundings and its connection to functionality.
