Description

HOKUYO GLASS

Founded in 1949, Hokuyo Glass, the manufacturer of Tsugaru Vidro, started out as a manufacturer of floating balls for fishing. The floating balls that blow up were praised for their reliable quality, and in 1973 they became the top producer in Japan. This is a workshop that creates handmade glass that evokes the image of Aomori's nature, using techniques such as "air blowing'' cultivated over many years of manufacturing floating beads.

This flower vase was produced at Hokuyo Glass, the studio that produces Tsugaru Biido, glass crafts that add color to the seasons.

This heavy-looking vase has a motif of the hydrangeas that spread across Cape Tappi, as well as the blue sky and sea. It features a refreshing color and elegant form.

The blue glass and gold leaf are layered on top of the white glass, and then a textured transparent glass is applied on top of that, giving the piece depth and color. If you hang it by a window in your room, you can enjoy how it sparkles even more in the sunlight.

It is just the right height and stable, and as the name suggests, it looks great with hydrangeas, as well as voluminous bouquets and dynamic arrangements of branches. Its gorgeous appearance is perfect for welcoming guests. It will convey your hospitality.

- Please handle with care to avoid hitting glass with other glass or hard objects. If it is scratched, it will be more likely to break.

- Do not place vases filled with water on top of electrical appliances or furniture. If water leaks, it may cause a fire or accident.

- If limescale or other deposits build up on a vase it will be difficult to remove, so please wash it regularly.

-Because these are handmade products, there may be some variation in color, pattern, shape, and weight.

- Please note that there may be small air bubbles in the glass product.
