Prototype conference table with resin feet, designed by Gaetano Pesce for the 1994 TBWA/Chiat/Day NYC headquarters. Very few pieces were saved during the demolition of the office in 1998, this being one of them. Stored for over 30 years and held under single ownership. A mossy green tabletop with irregular edges rests atop four bold cylindrical legs, each in a different color and size. These legs are molded into individual resin feet of matching hues. Original wiring gaps (3) present down the center of the table where the electrical cords were routed. A bold statement of avant-garde design that continued on the motif of play and imperfection inside of a corporate, office space.
