Sourced from Germany, this prototype armchair has a constructivist form and contrasting elmwood panels against lacquer steel frame. Titled 'Kipplehnstuhl' which translates to 'reclining chair' was by maker Joachim Eckhardt, member of Gruppe X99, a collective established in the mid-1980's in Berlin. Marked: JE 001 D 1/1990.
Signs of wear to the seat base, condition reflected in the price.
