Willow 1 chair designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904 and produced by Cassina. Constructed with an ebonized ash back featuring the chair’s distinctive curved profile and geometric latticework. The seat lifts to reveal a concealed storage compartment bearing the Cassina maker’s mark.
Includes the original burgundy upholstered cushion. Overall in excellent condition, with one small scuff on the back of the chair. A genuine and iconic example of early modernist design.
