Opihi Exo Library Table

$19,500
Description

The EXO series is an exercise in reinforcing concrete from the outside using non-corrosive metals in a design following growth patterns of exoskeletons found in nature.

“Opihi is Hawaiian for limpet. It is one of the most common shells you will see on the Hawaiian shores. The lines developed in the growth of the shell are simple and beautiful, my favorite combination. With the Opihi Library table, I tried to capture the beauty and strength of the Opihi. The 25" height makes it perfect for the library.” -James de Wulf

This occasional table weighs 200 lbs. Using 316 alloy stainless steel and high performance concrete, this piece is suitable indoors or outdoors in any climate.
