- Description
-
Our Lin Lighting Collection is inspired by environmental artist Maya Lin's 2001 work, Ecliptic, in which the location of stars are envisioned as points of light embedded in a concrete floor.
Taking cues from the night sky in abstraction—and paying homage to traditional punched tin lighting from our Texas upbringing— our Lin Pendant references the work of early-20th century artist-architects Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh.
Each Lin Sconce is hand-punched by an independent lighting shop in Austin, TX that has been crafting metal lighting for over 30 years.
