LIZWORKS

LIZWORKS

Founded in 2014 by Liz Swig, LIZWORKS collaborates with celebrated contemporary artists to create limited edition pieces that push the boundary between jewelry and art. Past projects include limited edition jewelry collections such as LONGO (2020) conceived with Robert Longo, exploring the artist's iconic Rose and Bullet Hole imagery to reflect the state of our union; ANXIOUS MEN (2020) with Rashid Johnson, whose collection of rings, pendants and cuffs comment on the psychological condition of contemporary culture; and CHARMED (2016), which reimagines the traditional charm bracelet with seven of the most important women artists working today: Cindy Sherman, Barbara Kruger, Laurie Simmons, Shirin Neshat, Mickalene Thomas, Rachel Feinstein, and Wangechi Mutu. Other design projects include TIME FOR OATMEAL (2017), a collection of bronze and terracotta serving bowls with design luminaries Humberto and Fernando Campana, which transforms breakfast into a seductive and immersive experience; and OCULIST WITNESS (2014), an eyewear collaboration with Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto and Selima Optique, offering an opportunity to “see the world through artist’s eyes.”
