Ernesto Nathan Rogers, a member of the Milanese design studio Studio BBPR, said that Milanese design should always start ‘from the spoon to the town’.
The ‘Arco’ console table is a perfect distillation of this idea. Grounded in Italian Rationalism and designed on the principle of ideal proportions, the table has two bifurcated metal legs, each finishing in a geometric foot that gives the piece weight and a strong industrial feel, finished by a bakelite top, rendered in a wood imitation.

Béton Brut
Béton Brut presents rare, design-led furniture from Europe and Japan. The collection, drawn from over a century of design, coheres around functional art & sculptural forms. Béton Brut comes from the concrete finish used in modernist architecture. It is rational yet organic, just like the collection.
