An extendable rise and fall table in rosewood with wonderful presence by Swedish designer, maker and architect Otto Wretling.
When opened it reveals a generous burr-veneered surface. The table can be raised or lowered via a clever ratchet system, bringing it from tall coffee table up to dining, desk and console height. So many uses — our favourite, behind the sofa at just the right level with books and lamps — ideal.
Good condition, some minor surface scratches consistent with age. Original label underside.

Béton Brut
Béton Brut presents rare, design-led furniture from Europe and Japan. The collection, drawn from over a century of design, coheres around functional art & sculptural forms. Béton Brut comes from the concrete finish used in modernist architecture. It is rational yet organic, just like the collection.
