The plates never touch—held apart to create a structural void that casts a continuous shadow, emphasizing both separation and support. This deliberate spacing highlights the construction logic while celebrating the raw expression of the fasteners. A tufted brown leather cushion rests lightly on top, creating a striking contrast between the softness of the upholstery and the cold precision of the steel below.
