Pharrell Williams' Echoes: Supreme Gold Chair - crafted in radiant bronze by Roham Shamekh and embodying the elemental force of Supreme Gold - is unveiled at the new New York flagship of Merit Southampton, in collaboration with Basic.Space. The sculptural piece debuts as part of a summer group show, opening July 12, 2025.
Roham Shamekh introduces Supreme Gold, a limited-edition sculptural chair channeling the civilizational energy of gold - a symbol of protection, transformation, and divinity. On view exclusively at the Merit Southampton flagship in New York, the work serves as a spiritual and visual centerpiece of the summer's collectible design showcase.
An experiential/furniture/art piece from Pharrell's Echoes series showed last winter in Curio Design Miami virally interacted by Gen Z and endorsed by pop star celebrity Rihanna, the chair is cast in bronze with a luminous supreme gold finish. More than a supreme design object, it is a meditative vessel of soulful furniture as the Shamekh says - an interactive symbol inviting reflection on intention, empowerment, and inner transformation.
