Part gallery, part living room, Salon 21 believes good art belongs in everyday life. The gallery celebrates the intersection between art, design, and community. Based in the iconic WSA building in FiDi, their exhibitions, events, and collaborations unfold in a setting that feels more like a home than a white cube. Salon 21 embodies the cultural moment of contemporary art and design for a new generation of New Yorkers. Salon 21 also completes NYC-based and international residential and commercial interior design projects, as well as independent art advising and styling. Alex Bass is the founder and CEO of Salon 21. She holds a BA in Art History from Columbia University and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, as well as experience working at major auction houses and blue chip galleries.
