Audio 310 + L60

$9,898
Description

The Audio 310 + L60 system from Braun is a powerful compact hi-fi setup from the early 1970s, developed in the design environment strongly shaped by Dieter Rams and Braun’s functional design philosophy. The Audio 310 combines radio, amplifier, and record player in a single minimalist unit, while the L60 speakers provide fuller, room- filling sound than the small integrated speakers common in earlier systems. Compared with Braun’s 1950s radio- phono furniture, this setup reflects the move toward modern modular hi-fi, where components became lighter, clearer in layout, and visually restrained. Today, the combination is appreciated both as a practical vintage system still usable at home and as a design object, representing Braun’s transition from furniture-like audio consoles to the clean, rational hi-fi systems that influenced modern consumer electronics design. All gear sold by RadioHack Werkstatt Berlin is equipped with a wireless streamer, making it possible to stream music wirelessly from your phone or other devices to the vintage equipment.

RadioHack Werkstatt

RadioHack is a collection and workshop dedicated to preserving, restoring, and repurposing high-quality vintage audio gear. What began as a personal fascination with mid-century hi-fi has slowly grown into a small Werkstatt in Berlin where classic radios, turntables, and tape machines are brought back to life. The project combines careful restoration with experimentation, often rethinking materials and design while respecting the original spirit of the objects. Over time, a community of audio lovers, collectors, technicians, and design enthusiasts has formed around the Werkstatt. People from different places share knowledge, parts, and stories about these machines and the culture around them. RadioHack is therefore not only a collection and a workshop, but also a space where design, technology, and music history continue to spin together.
