Aspen was a multimedia "magazine" about the arts published by Phyllis Johnson, a former editor for *Women's Wear Daily* and *Advertising Age*, from 1965 to 1971. Each issue was a custom-made box containing separate booklets, pamphlets, records, posters, and more.


The very first issue of this historic publication. Our copy includes:


Jazz: A Cool Duel. Three perspectives on jazz, from three active musicians

Ski-Roaming, Lift-Shunning, Mountain-Touring. Denis Higgins and John Henry Auran on the pleasures of cross-country skiing.
