Eliz Fan explores the relationship between imagery, memory, and personal identity through jewellery — objects that accompany the body through time, holding emotional meaning and cultural memory in form and material. Of Taiwanese heritage, born and raised in Hong Kong, now based in London, Fan brings a lived experience of cultural intersection to her practice. Her Masters in Jewellery & Metal at the Royal College of Art refined a technical language precise enough to hold the weight of that history — work that is quiet in its execution, exacting in its intention. Central to this practice are philosophies rooted in East Asian thought: wabi-sabi, the appreciation of imperfection and transience, and ichigo ichie, the awareness that every moment is singular and unrepeatable. These ideas shape an approach to making that values the quiet, the incomplete, and the overlooked — worn surfaces, natural structures, the softness of things that resist resolution. Themes of calmness, solitude, vulnerability, and reflection run through the work. Each piece emerges from an attentiveness to small, raw beauties: the kind that exist beneath everyday life rather than above it. The practice also holds the meeting of East and West — where traditional Chinese and Japanese ornamental languages are drawn through personal perspective and lived experience. Historical patterns and dreamlike imagery are not reproduced but inhabited, allowed to exist in a contemporary and intimate context.

James de Wulf is an American artist and designer whose practice unfolds at the intersection of collectible furniture, sculpture, and exhibition design. For over two decades, he has worked with concrete, stone, steel, and other materials, combining craftsmanship with a sensitivity shaped by experimentation and cross-cultural inspiration. In his hands, materials are poetically pushed beyond their assumed limits. Their properties are extended, their nature reimagined, and allowed to speak differently. And just like that, aluminum—neat, minimalist—becomes musical in a resonant ping-pong table, where each movement produces sound, and play becomes performance. Concrete, heavy and inert, is animated by organic patterns reminiscent of branches, roots, and animal exoskeletons. Stone, traditionally defined by weight and permanence, is reinterpreted as pliable, capable of conveying the fleeting, delicate lightness of flowers. Across his work, monolithic sculptures and brutalist geometries seem suspended in time, hovering between echoes of ancient civilisations and Sci-Fi imagination. “It all began with a visit to a concrete factory, and later the discovery of the work of Italian architect Angelo Mangiarotti,” de Wulf reflects. “Watching concrete move from liquid matter to architectural presence unlocked my fascination with design.” Transition lies at the core of his creative language. “My work always starts with materials. In some ways, I feel part alchemist, part maker,” he says. Quoting French chemist Antoine de Lavoisier—Nothing is created, everything transforms—de Wulf frames his work as an exploration of flux. “Matter and essence are in constant motion. With my pieces, I seek to capture the quiet poetry of transformation: the subtle shifts occurring between atoms, and those extending far beyond them.” Aluminum steel becomes sound, concrete appears alive, minerality turns ephemeral. James de Wulf has presented his collectible designs at leading international platforms including Design Miami, Salon New York, and Paris Art Week. His practice reflects the curiosity of an explorer. Having lived in Los Angeles, Berlin, Copenhagen, Malmö, and Koh Samui, he is now based in Maui, Hawaii, while continuing to travel in search of new perspectives. “Every new project,” he says, “is an exciting journey.”

Jakub Kubica is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, born in Slovakia, who specialises in using natural materials such as stone combined with sterile metals. One of the key intersections in Kubica's work is the blend between art and design, particularly evident in his furniture pieces. Kubica's artistic practice is marked by an overarching theme of rediscovery, which draws parallels with the fieldwork of an archaeologist and leads Kubica towards new perspectives on the ever-expansive present. For many years, Kimy Gringoire has explored the motif of the heart in her work, investigating its form, symbolism, and emotional resonance. Her jewelry collection LOVECABLES marked the beginning of this exploration. Developed in 18-carat gold in Antwerp, the pieces translate the invisible flow of love into tangible objects worn on the body. Through curved cables forming abstract hearts, the jewelry captures and materializes this movement of emotion. Before expanding this language into sculpture, her jewelry brand had already reached an international audience through concept stores such as Colette (Paris), Opening Ceremony (New York / Los Angeles), and 10 Corso Como (Milan). This research later evolved into BIGLOVECABLES, a series in which the heart cables leave the scale of the body and enter space. The cables grow larger and interact with architecture, becoming wall sculptures, lighting pieces, seating, and design objects. This allow Gringoire to explore the subversive side of the Heart : the tubes are crossing the walls: a sense of freedom and resistance to imposed structures A first installation was presented in Ghent, where Gringoire experimented with lacquered wood and resine forms, introducing large red tubes symbolizing blood and love alongside black lacquered lighting objects. The project reached a new stage in Mexico City, where BIGLOVECABLES was exhibited and produced locally in bronze and steel, in collaboration with Mexican artisans. The installation explored the flow of silver and gold tones within the space, demonstrating how the project can transform through different cultural and craft traditions. Alongside this research, Gringoire also recently presented a project in Ghent exploring the Sacralization of Light, continuing her investigation into how objects can create emotional and ritual experiences. With BIGLOVECABLES, her ambition is to let this thread of the heart travel across places and cultures, evolving through local craftsmanship and materials. At the same time, she seeks to challenge the heart itself: its form and its emotional symbolism; through both unique sculptural works and more accessible objects, allowing this language of love to circulate more widely.
