Welcome to erthouse, a place where you can be surprised by 20th century pieces. We firmly believe in the transformative power of human connection and the profound impact that thoughtfully chosen objects can have on our lives. Our vision is to enrich our customers by offering furniture that is not only visually captivating but also infused with history and significance. These objects are not mere decorations—they are vessels of memory, culture, and emotion that resonate with those who choose them, becoming a part of their living spaces. Our collection has been put together with sensitivity where we not only offer pieces from well-known makers but also anonymous objects with a distinctive character. We both truly enjoy the thrill of discovering the perfect mid-century design pieces from around the world, often when we least expect it, those items that add a unique character to every space. Equally rewarding is our commitment to ensuring that our clients have the best possible experience, all the way through to far beyond the delivery. It’s this blend of passion for design and dedication to exceptional service that drives everything we do at erthouse. Together, Joost and Tessa bring nearly two decades of experience in the 20th century design industry, a powerful combination of expertise that shapes every challenge they take on.

Dilara Findikoglu is a independent womenswear designer in London showing seasonal collections during London Fashion Week. Founded her namesake brand upon her graduation from Central Saint Martins, she is an influential voice in steering together subcultural elements and infusing these with important and timely social commentary on feminism, spirituality and social issues. Her instantly recognisable and completely unique perspective on luxury fashion had made her one of the most talked about creatives of today receiving critical acclaim from Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D, WWD and countless leading international media titles. Her strongly iconoclastic viewpoint is informed by Istanbul-born Findikoglu’s upbringing blending artisan traditions and techniques with punk mentality executed with the highest attention to quality, detail and couture sensibility. Dilara Findikoglu was nominated for the LMVH prize in 2017 marking her as an exceptional rising talent on the world stage. She was also awarded the Vanguard Award by the British Fashion Awards 2025. Her collections are available internationally at the world’s leading retailers such as H. Lorenzo, Antonioli, Net-a-Porter, KM20 and Selfridges. Since 1987, Meritalia® denies symmetry and seeks unique shapes and volumes in its products. The company is based on an Italian manufacturing tradition that combines high-quality materials with continuous research and innovation. This approach is perfectly represented by the works of Gaetano Pesce, who also designed the radical, imperfect collection "par excellence": Edizioni del Pesce. Moreover, designers who have collaborated with Meritalia® also include Mario Bellini, Carlo Contin, Giulio Iacchetti, and, more recently, the disruptive Misha Kahn. The result is a unique and radical collection that invites people to explore their creativity and shape their living space.
