Blayne Pearce Planit of Visionary Projects
Blayne Pearce, born 1993 in Manhattan, is a visual artist currently based in NYC. Her mixed media paintings are intuitive and expressive, textural and immersive and incorporate materials such as sand, gravel, pumice, glass beads, wax, palo santo, and intuition. The dynamic layering of materials and textures speaks to her personal evolution and experiences. Curiosity, openness and instinct act as Blayne's guides; trusting the unknown is a theme in her approach to travel and art allowing her to view life as a blank canvas accompanied by both self and universal trust. Her work has been influenced by the experiences and global perspective she gained while living and working for many years in Southeast Asia and Australia.
