During the consecration of ancient temples, many images were chiseled away. Often, sculptures were removed entirely, replaced by windows inset with crucifixes.
In this fragment, Hermes appears at far left. To his right, Dionysus reclines; beside him is Demeter, holding her torch. At far right stands Ares, grasping his spear.
A solid Sterling Silver belt buckle, presented on a supple horse leather strap. Optional three-panel Sterling Silver attachment sewn into strap.
