The Come Stai? chair represents a monumental late-career collaboration between visionary Italian architect-designer Gaetano Pesce and the fashion house Bottega Veneta, under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy. Originally commissioned as a site-specific installation of 400 entirely distinct seats for the brand’s Summer 2023 runway show in Milan, the project functions as both functional furniture and a political manifesto on human individuality.
