Soo Hyun Chou

Soohyun Chou is a Seoul-based metal artist and designer whose practice explores shifting perceptions of form, space, and reality. Combining traditional metal casting with digital fabrication, she developed her own modular casting method, Modulated Mold Casting (MMC), through which fragmented units are recombined into sculptural objects and jewelry. Her work has been presented internationally, including LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2026, SCHMUCK 2026, and Talente 2024, where she received the Talente Award. Working across contemporary craft, collectible design, and jewelry, Chou continues to explore new possibilities for metal as both material and structure.
