Since 1987, Meritalia® denies symmetry and seeks unique shapes and volumes in its products. The company is based on an Italian manufacturing tradition that combines high-quality materials with continuous research and innovation. This approach is perfectly represented by the works of Gaetano Pesce, who also designed the radical, imperfect collection "par excellence": Edizioni del Pesce. Moreover, designers who have collaborated with Meritalia® also include Mario Bellini, Carlo Contin, Giulio Iacchetti, and, more recently, the disruptive Misha Kahn. The result is a unique and radical collection that invites people to explore their creativity and shape their living space.

Jakub Kubica is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, born in Slovakia, who specialises in using natural materials such as stone combined with sterile metals. One of the key intersections in Kubica's work is the blend between art and design, particularly evident in his furniture pieces. Kubica's artistic practice is marked by an overarching theme of rediscovery, which draws parallels with the fieldwork of an archaeologist and leads Kubica towards new perspectives on the ever-expansive present. Through his art, Kubica explores the fragility of our environment and the potential loss of it with a series called "Please do not hesitate to contact me", which was exhibited during Berlin Art Week at Wilhelm Halle as one of the 2021 Berlin Masters finalists.

Daniel Couttolenc is a Mexican designer whose creative universe blends interior architecture, photography, and collectible furniture through the timeless language of sacred geometry. His exploration of geometric harmony bridges a foundation in industrial design with a deeply personal spiritual pursuit, revealing that creation and contemplation can flow from the same universal rhythm. Couttolenc’s work draws on sacred geometry—the intrinsic mathematics of nature—to unite precision and intuition. His pieces channel emotional resonance, much like music shaping the listener’s inner state. Proportions such as the Golden Number 1.618 and archetypal symbols like the hexagram embody the balance of opposing forces—sun and moon, light and shadow, masculine and feminine. Approaching each project with deliberate care, he treats geometry not as decoration but as an active system of meaning, imbuing his sculptures, furniture, and environments with vibrational depth that encourages reflection, harmony, and connection.

Lee spent her childhood in Seoul, Korea, lived in Chicago and studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Lee participated in the Yale University School of Art: Norfolk residency and has shown in cities across the US including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City as well as internationally in Berlin, Copenhagen, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei and beyond. Devon Turnbull (b. 1979, New York) is known under his creative pseudonym OJAS, a Sanskrit term that loosely translates to ‘life vitality’, and one that has been used multi-disciplinary, from graffiti to streetwear, music, high fashion and graphic design. Having originally studied Audio Engineering, Turnbull went on to co-found and design for the influential subterranean clothing brand, Nom de Guerre, in 2003. During this time he regularly visited Japan, where he was exposed to the now almost-extinct craft of the HiFi audio-building, and began to turn his attention to experimentation and engineering of underground audio. Over the decades, Turnbull has created a countercultural following for creating handmade, high-fidelity home-audio equipment that is committed to conveying the naturalistic quality of music. These monolithic speakers have been seen and heard in spaces including the SFMOMA, the homes of celebrity music producers like Mark Ronson; Virgil Abloh’s ‘Figures of Speech’ exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum; the Nine Orchard Hotel, NYC Ace Hotel and Public Records in Brooklyn, NYC; and the fashion retailers, Ssense and Supreme Stores. Through all of these collaborations, Turnbull’s devotion to utter sonic purity remains unparalleled.

Laffanour | Galerie Downtown specializes in 20th century European and American masters of design – most of them architects. Since its opening in the early 1980s, the gallery has been organizing thematic and monographic exhibitions on designers such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret, Le Corbusier and Jean Royère. Shortly after the Second World War, this generation of designers brought a new concept to the Art of furnishing, dictated by a need for freedom and functionality: a new 'Art de vivre' in a time of technological and scientific advances. The gallery also showcases works by Isamu Noguchi, Serge Mouille, José Zanine Caldas, Luis Barragàn and is representing such contemporary designers as Ron Arad and Choi Byung Hoon in France.
