Hand crafted from German steel, the 'Plug-in' chair is a reversible loveseat that features a removable central connector. allowing the chairs to be positioned side by side or back to front. Edition of 6.
An important figure in "Neues Deutsches Design" (New German Design) movement of the 1980's, Siebrasse began making furniture at the age of 16 and still makes works today. In 1986, Siebrasses and his partner Rainer Schenk cofounded the "confrontation - Art & Design" group and started the "Avant-garde Design Center" at the Cologne international Furniture Fair, when they first showed their furniture.
Vintage condition with signs of wear in keeping with age including some natural oxidation of the steel surface.
