- Description

This twentieth-century Art Deco screen strongly recalls the hand of French designer Jomain Baumann. Its pine slats are stained and polished, and the flexibility of the joints – which are capable of unfurling in several configurations – is made possible by an invisible articulated system. Refinished in black. Minor surface scratches present. Some slats towards bottom edge regularly detach from their fittings leaving a small gap. Therefore this piece is sold and hired as seen.

Béton Brut
Béton Brut presents rare, design-led furniture from Europe and Japan. The collection, drawn from over a century of design, coheres around functional art & sculptural forms. Béton Brut comes from the concrete finish used in modernist architecture. It is rational yet organic, just like the collection.
