Basic.Space x Apple Pay Luxury Draw — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION, WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Subject to all federal, state and local laws.
1. Sweepstakes Entry Period: The Basic.Space x Apple Pay Luxury Draw (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 6, 2026 and ends at 11:59 P.M. ET on November 19, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
2. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age and the age of majority in their state/jurisdiction of residence or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Basic.Space (“Sponsor”) Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (the “Administrator”), and each of their parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, agencies (collectively “Released Parties”), their immediate and extended family members (including but not limited to spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate or win. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entry constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
3. How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, you may enter by visiting basic.space/luxurydraw (“Website”) to register for a free account or logging into an existing account, then follow the instructions and links to the shopping card to make a one-dollar ($1) donation to the Virgil Abloh Foundation via Apply Pay to earn one (1) Sweepstakes Entry (“Donation Entry”) into the random drawing. Limit five (5) Entries per person. Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Entries generated by AI, script, macro or other automated means and Entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries may not be acknowledged or returned. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents (including, but not limited to, sweepstakes entry services to create fraudulent email addresses and/or identities) will void all Entries by that Entrant. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service may apply. If entering via mobile device, normal phone/data and usage charges imposed by your phone service may apply.
Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”): Mail-in Alternate Method of Entry: To earn Sweepstakes Entries without making a donation, hand-print your first name, last name, valid email address, complete mailing address (no PO Boxes) including city, state and zip, along with date of birth and on a plain piece of paper, inserting into an envelope and sending via mail it in a hand-addressed, business-size (#10) envelope with first-class postage affixed, to: The Basic.Space x Apple Pay Luxury Draw Entry, 3343 La Cienega Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90016 (“AMOE Entries”).
AMOE Entries must be postmarked by November 20, 2026 and received November 30, 2026. Limit one (1) AMOE Entry per envelope. All AMOE Entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage-due AMOE Entries, which will be disqualified. Mechanically reproduced AMOE Entries are automatically void.
“Donation Entries” and “AMOE Entries” will be collectively referred to simply as an “Entry” or “Entries” moving forward.
Limit five (5) Entries per person/email address, regardless of method of Entry or combination of methods of Entry, during the entire Sweepstakes Period. No information regarding Entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed. Incomplete, corrupted, or untimely Entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen or misdirected Entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the Entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.
4. RANDOM DRAWING/ODDS: On or about December 8, 2026, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible Entries received/postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period. Random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the drawing. The odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received/postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period.
5. Winner Notification: The potential winner will be contacted by email address or phone number provided during Entry. The potential Grand Prize winner must sign and return via Docusign, a Declaration of Compliance, Liability & Publicity Release (where legal) (collectively, “Declaration”). The Declaration must be completed, signed and returned via Docusign within five (5) days of notification attempt or such prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. If the potential Grand Prize winner fails to return the completed Declaration within five (5) days, Declaration is returned as undeliverable, Entrant shall be deemed to be ineligible, prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential Grand Prize winner will be selected. If an Entrant is disqualified for one of the reasons mentioned above and an alternate is selected, the alternate must complete and return the required documents in the timeframe specified. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable, if the potential winning Eligible Entrant is not eligible or if notification is not returned in a timely manner, it may result in disqualification and alternate selection. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for undeliverable emails, including but not limited to those resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering by a user’s internet service provider and/or email client or for insufficient space in user’s email account to receive email. The prize will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible Entries are received. The potential winner is subject to verification by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. An Entrant is not the winner of the prize unless and until Entrant's eligibility has been verified and Entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor will make up to three (3) attempts to award the Grand Prize after which, the prize shall remain unawarded.
6. Prize and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”): One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) Business Class Lounge by Crosby Studios’ Harry Nuriev, one (1) Antony Armchair in Baby Blue by Virgil Abloh x Vitra, one (1) Petite Potence Wall Lamp in Baby Blue by Virgil Abloh x Vitra, one (1) Ceramic Block in Baby Blue by Virgil Abloh x Vitra, one (1) Diamond Dusty White Rug by Nordic Knots, one (1) Pair of Gatto Lamps by Achille and Pier Castiglioni for Flos, 1960s, one (1) ‘Bambole’ Sofa by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, 1970s, and one LC10-P Coffee Table by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, and Pierre Jeanneret for Cassina, 1990s (ARV: $41,781).
No transfer, assignment, substitution or cash equivalent for prize will be permitted, except Sponsor may substitute an alternate prize(s) of greater or comparable value and Sponsor’s obligation to the winner will be fulfilled, and no other additional compensation will be provided. Resale of prize is prohibited. In no event will more than one (1) Grand Prize be awarded. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Grand Prize winner will receive a 1099 form in the mail for the actual retail value of the prize, to be processed in the year in which they receive the prize.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS, RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, invalid, stolen, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible Entries, which will be disqualified. In exchange for the right to participate in the Sweepstakes, Entrants/winner agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Released Parties, from and against any and all liability (including, but not limited to, damages caused or claimed to be caused, losses, or injury or even death) arising out of participation and/or acceptance/use or misuse of prize, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Released Parties are not responsible for other errors or difficulties of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, in the selection/announcement of the winner, the announcement of the prize, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. NOTICE: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The Released Parties are not responsible for faulty, incorrect, undeliverable email transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer, phone or device related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the Sweepstakes, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer, device transmission, or communications of any kind that may limit a user's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. The releases hereunder are intended to apply to all claims not known or suspected to exist with the intent of waiving the effect of laws requiring the intent to release future unknown claims. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures threaten the integrity of the Sweepstakes; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination, the random drawing will be conducted from among all among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received prior to termination or prize will be awarded as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Any damage made to Website by an Entrant will be the responsibility of the Entrant and/or the authorized email account holder of the email address associated with the Entry. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE PRIZE, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY. CHECK LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS.
8. Disputes: Except where prohibited, Sponsor reserves the right to make all decisions in its sole discretion arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes, and the decisions by Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Except where prohibited, you agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with the Sweepstakes or prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of California; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participation in the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) notwithstanding the foregoing, you waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United States of America and the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the laws of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.
9. Privacy: Any personal information that an Entrant provides in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be used by Sponsor and Administrator to administer this Sweepstakes, contact Entrants, and for the other purposes set forth in the Sponsor’s privacy policy located at https://basic.space/pages/privacy-policy. By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to and accept that privacy policy.
10. Grand Prize winner: For the name of the Grand Prize winner, (first name, last initial, city and state only), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Basic.Space x Apple Pay Luxury Draw Winner, 3343 La Cienega Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90016. Requests must be received by January 15, 2027. The name of the Grand Prize winner will be sent after the winner has been confirmed.
11. Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Basic.Space, 3343 La Cienega Place, Los Angeles, CA 90016. The Administrator of this Sweepstakes is Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. 100 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747.
