Eva Doležalová is a Czech born director, screenwriter, actress and producer currently based in Los Angeles. After directing her first short film Sound of Sun starring Suki Waterhouse, Sean Penn, and herself, she has gone on to direct additional short films and has two original feature films in development.


When asked to describe the Smythe aesthetic, co-designers Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe choose words like “modern and emotional”. Since launching in 2004 with blazers and jackets, the pair have brought a unique sense of occasion to everyday wardrobe essentials and gained a cult-status following.
